# Companion Upgrade and Skill

**Companion Level**

Companion can be upgraded using their own fragments and Gold.\
The following table is the cost of summoning and upgrading a companion.

When reaching ⭐, a skill slot will be unlocked and companion will gain a random skill.

There are a total of 3 skill slots that can be unlocked at ⭐,⭐⭐⭐,and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ upgrade level.

**Companion Level Reward**

When reaching ⭐,⭐⭐⭐,and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the reward will be unlocked for each companion.

**Skill Enhancement**

Players can use Skill Enhancer which can be exchanged from Aurorite Ore to upgrade skills. This will increase or decrease a potential % of skills that are not locked. Stronger level of companion will increase the upper bound of skill potential (100% at 5 ⭐ level).

**Skill Reroll**\
Players can randomly change companion's skill by using reroll option. This will cost some gold and monster soul fragments. All of the skill that are not locked will be randomly changed into a new one.

**Chained Scroll**

Chained Scroll are used to lock the skill from being change when Reroll or Enhance. More scroll are needed when locking more than one skill.\
Chained Scroll can be exchanged from Diamond.

Note: Combat skills value have diminishing returns, stacking the same type of buff will make them slightly less effective.
